2.1 Staff

At the end of 1995 the following tenured positions were available:

Several (11) long-term scientific positions were funded by the resources of the BGI Visiting Scientists' Program (see Sect. 5) as well as short-term visits for discussing future projects or presentating research results (see Sect. 4.6). 17 scientists were funded by personal grants.
